I do this through one-on-one coaching, consultancy and mentoring, tailored to your business and how you work. Sessions are available remotely from anywhere, or in person for those in Perth and the South West of Western Australia. It’s a practical, hands-on approach designed to give you clarity, confidence and direction.

I’m Kathy, founder of The Retail Toolkit, a small business consultancy dedicated to helping owners and managers build profitable, sustainable businesses.
I specialise in small business because it’s a world apart from anything else. One minute you’re placing orders and preparing rosters, the next you’re scheduling social media posts and planning marketing campaigns, and all while on the shop floor serving customers.
You have to know everything and be everywhere. I know, I’ve been there too. It’s exhilarating, daunting and relentless, but also incredibly empowering.
I’ve spent my career building and scaling my own businesses, both retail and wholesale, as well as working with and leading national retail franchises that support small business owners. That experience has given me a deep understanding of the retail industry and just how challenging it is to run a business day to day.
I know what it takes to succeed, and I want to help others navigate their own business challenges so they can build something they truly enjoy.

This goes beyond the standard mystery shop.
You know what traditional mystery shopping is, but this is different. Our retail specialist visits your store undercover and conducts a detailed evaluation of both your team and your store itself, observing every aspect through your customer’s eyes.
